  1. What if? What if? Meaningless. What if Japan waited a week or two then saw that the Soviets were not going to be rolled over, hence not attacking the British and Americans. Then maybe the Tizzard Mission may have gone to the USSR not the US, then the post war superpowers would have been Britain and the USSR, with Tube Alloys developing the A bomb.
