@oldcountryman2795 Making a building fabric air tight is not blocking ventilation. Ventilation should be controlled, not incidental.

@sjoroverpirat Called a vapour barrier. You have to know what you are doing when adding extra insulation to wooden houses. Otherwise you may get interintestinal condensation.
