  1. Mercedes Benz have boghut Yasa, an British innovative advanced electric motor company. They are also investing in battery plants. It is not true the western world is sitting there doing nothing. BTW, Mercedes Benz are well established in the UK. The F1 is based there with the engines designed and made in Northampton. AMG is based in Brackley. The top of the range sports cars are made in Woking.
