  1. The rotary is more efficient in power/weight. The rotary is a part time engine, so will last. It is lighter so less weight for the batteries to pull. It is the annual cost of fuel that counts.

  2. They were a poor car. Fuel thirsty, heavy, little luggage space, the windscreen was on your nose, pathetic performance, ugly, pedals were odd as they went into the floor like a truck, etc, etc.

  3. It was an awful car to drive. Cramped with a dashboard up to your nose. It is a mystery how this antiquated fuel guzzling, slow, uncomfortable car became a best seller. BTW, I had a new one.
