  1. Let's see, this guy on other vids say his daily drive is a Land Rover Defender and this one, the Range Rover. Wow two cars in one day. So, he drive a 22 year old Defender, which is no longer made - so safe there, as it is not threatening the US market. He gives the impression he loves Land Rovers. He has a Range Rover saying is it wonderful, in looks, desirability, luxury, etc, to any USA SUV, which it is. This is all gloss to the real motive. So, how can you get at castigating this car making inroads into the US SUV market? A car that created the genre fifty years ago. You can only go on reliability. He is easy to see through, not that clever - most certainly paid to spout this stuff. Then a plethora of Americans cheer him on, with liberal insults. Strange that these cars are only unreliable in the USA. Must be the air of course. I await more of the paid American trolls to descend on this vid, extolling how unreliable Range Rovers are. The US car industry must be desperate to drop to these levels.

  4. The Rover company was well established well before WW2. They made the most successful tank engine of WW2 - the Meteor.

  5.  @rainingkillah4471  There is nothing of the Jeep similar to the series 1 Land Rover. Steel was rationed in the UK after WW2. Luxury items were heavily taxed. Rover made upmarket cars. The owners had an old WW2 Jeep on his farm. When discussing the situation to save the company, they said let's make one of these for farmers. The body was lightweight aluminium giving a lower centre of gravity, a metal which was not rationed. Rover made a far better vehicle than the dated fuel thirty Jeep. The British Army assessed the farmers Land Rover then adopted it phasing out Jeeps. Long wheel based versions came along. It could be fixed using a basic tool kit in the middle of deserts and the jungles of Africa, it was so simple. The first vehicle sound heard by millions of people in Africa was a Land Rover. It was vastly more successful than the Jeep.

  10. I drove Chevy pickups and Suburbans in the Middle East deserts. The most unreliable vehicles I have ever drove. We also went in pairs with spare parts, as one breaking down was common. They were poorly made.

  21. This guy is paid to make derogatory videos on a British car that is making an indent on US sales, in the US. Where I live is swarming with Range Rovers, and has been for most of my life. Yet I have never seen one on a trailer or broken on the side of the road. Is it the air in the USA? No, look at Internet plants.
