@joaolisboa7775 it's other way around - simplicity is a sign of design, not complexity - so, you should ask how simple it should to be.

@mitchell.simmons nope, he is trying to slide in intelligent design nonsense - if you didn't noticed that short mention of type III system in the rant of "irreducible complexity" nonsense (while term itself he avoided to mention). It was utterly disingenuous.

after phrase "when I was younger man" I expected to hear "I was younger earth creationist" 😂

@danilooliveira6580 I wouldn't say "soft" but rather "slimy"...
4
@danilooliveira6580 yup, they are purposely trying to deceive - this one is trying to slide in intelligent design in form of irreducible complexity under flag of not defending flags. Slimy.
4
@mitchell.simmons oh man, it was wild... I mean your assumption that complexity is a sign of design, when in reality it's opposite - simplicity is a sign of design

oh gosh, you are one of these... christians... very sad realization, really

***** assuming you already selected station as a target 1. insert yourself in the orbit roughly inline with station in front or behind (up to 2-3km distance required - less is better) 3. orient your module prograde if station is ahead of you or retrograde if station is behind 4. using "V" select chasing camera mode - by this you are making your translate controls inline with camera - much easier 5. translate to aproach ~30m distance variant 1: 6. switch to station, switch to control from docking port, set module as a target, orient station to target (your module) 7. switch back to module 8. switch module to operate from docking port 9. orient module towards station 10. slowly approach station with translation (~1m/s) until docking, using translation to catch angular velocity with station while keeping direction to target (don't forgot to be in chasing camera mode) variant 2: 6. switch to station, switch to control from docking port, set module as a target, orient station prograde TO ORBIT if module in front or retrograde TO ORBIT if module is behined 7. switch back to module 8. switch module to operate from docking port 9. orient module prograde TO ORBIT if station in front of you or retrograde TO ORBIT if station is behind of you 10. line up module with station using translation keeping prograde/retrograde direction 11. slowly approach station with translation (~1m/s) until docking, using translation to lineup module with station (don't forget to be in chasing camera mode) variant 1 if you fast enough (related to orbital angular velocity - more velocity - less time you have), i.e. orbit is high enough to keep angular velocity manageable variant 2 is more forgiving regarding to time and less sensitive to angular velocity - I personally prefer this one especially on low orbit you can switch order of some operations - depends what you feel more convenient docking mod is very helpful - with this mod you can manually dock without any visual reference - by using only docking monitor and after you master manual docking - use MechJeb ;)

these pivots is exactly how it works - when missile rols, these rollerons would pivot rolleron's body - the stabilisation comes not from gyroscopic effect on missile body, but from pivoting rolleron's body and acting as an aileron

just don't sprinkle in that intelligent design nonsense and everything will be fine...
