That's the biggest issue of ANY conspiracy theory: the "truthers" are so much invested to justify HOW their conspiracy works, they forget the WHY would anyone do that. Imagine, we'd have to have Soviets and USA unite during Cold War and even warring WW2 or WW1 factions maintain the illusion of a globe for... NASA profits?! Why would the Ottomans and Entente, communists and tsarists, all play along together?.. But the biggest issue isn't even that. Let's accept space-faring nations being on it and buying off ~200 countries that don't have a space program. WHAT WERE OVER 2000 YEARS OF HUMAN CIVILIZATION BEFORE GETTING FROM IT?! Like, Eratosthenes measured relative Earth circumference in Alexandria, ANCIENT EGYPT. Every theory about historical conspiracy by World government requires said government to operate a TIME MACHINE to take advantage of that USSR space flight money kick-backs.

It's worse. They are so USA-centric they put those Hollywood aliens who invade literally on top of US landmarks to shame... whole flat Earth conspiracy hinges on the notion that it's a budget stealing scheme, that NASA money which goes to space research is stolen by people in on the con. Problem is, no point in anyone outside the United States to do that since even countries that HAVE a space program don't have nearly the size of budget to justify spending billions on fakery on global scale. It also stops making sense people way back in Ancient Greece and Egypt to "pretend" Earth is round... what they got out of that?.. O.o Moon landing hoax is also debunked by the fact it was cheaper to send people on the Moon in 60s than to make tape recorders that slowed down the footage so much and for so long back then)))

Not a genetic trait though. OTOH, bigots are up in arms about LGBTQ+ adopting kids but not much is done to stop cult members from having children before they give them cyanide or take them into some traumatic cult practices not to mention obligatory brainwashing.

@Aclas143 how could Bible fall out of the sky or be written by a guy who can't prove its existence if many chapters are clearly labeled by different people who wrote them. Like, Epistles of Paul. Written by a dude named Paul. Literally his letters. Even the most literal interpretation of the Bible claims Book of Samuel was written by... come on, Sherlock... by Samuel!.. Duh. The ONLY part in Bible that ever claimed to be celestial are Ten Commandments which are inside a chapter in the book of Exodus, but I don't think likes of Moses, Joshua or king Solomon had to prove to someone they existed.)))
