Egyptians didn't celebrate anyone on sunday, it's literally impossible because Egyptian week was 10 days. THEY DIDN'T HAVE SUNDAY ON 7TH DAY. The 6th days and 7th Holy Sabbath is a Jewish thing. Also nobody was celebrated as born on 25th of December in ANY Egyptian sources tho one in 365 Egyptians certainly was. So there is LITERALLY nothing in common with Jesus and Horus. Absolutely. You're just making things up because you WANT to believe in Zeitgeist, the book about 9/11 truthism, Moon Landing denial, and Sovereign Citizen crap.

@mrsatire9475 Easter is called Pascha in Greek, which is a translation of Jewish Pesach, aka Passover. It comes from Middle Eastern celebration, and claiming it is stolen from white Europeans is exactly bad history this channel debunks. Winter Solstice was never celebrated by Zeus worshipers either. It's a Christian thing started by Jews.

Cause all I see is scholars trying to make up a fake Roman Holiday that didn't exist instead of accepting Christians just counting 9 months from 25th of March, which was celebrated as Jesus conception. Also dates are knowingly picked as symbolic. All that I read on topic had 25th December picked as day of Sol Invictus AFTER Christianity already celebrated it.

As someone who likes Egyptian mythology, tell me what part of Bible has Jesus killed by his brother, then cut into 14 parts, and his wife having sex with reanimated body using a clay penis? In fact I will insist you're being disrespectful to Egyptians AND racist to Middle Eastern people in general by claiming they couldn't write their own stories and had to copy Greeks for Zeus love life.

That movie says 9/11 was an inside job, that Atlantis existed, and Moon Landing didn't happen. And that US law means you shouldn't pay taxes. It also shows completely not understanding Egyptian mythology, making mistakes in EVERY. Single. Claim. Just because you hate Christians doesn't make any of Zeitgeist less wrong.

3:10 I am not sure why you keep insisting on that and even gave a pass to Peter Joseph on that. It's one of most frequently repeated bad history myths about pagans widely celebrating december 25th when there isn't any proof apart from like one hearsay from a Greek mentioning Horus birthday but even he doesn't claim they celebrated the date. Everything I heard about Christmas date so far is that it wasn't a holiday at all until early Christians made it so AND THEN, some pagan churches tried to retroactively celebrate it to makes themselves feel more relevant. I feel like the few checkmarks you gave to PJ in first video were undeserved, even the half-point for Horus healing, which is obviously not what he is associated with.

Easter is just English name for Pascha/Pesach, OUTSIDE of Anglophone world, we DO NOT HAVE SEPARATE NAMES FOR EASTER AND PASSOVER, one is called "Orthodox Pascha", other "Catholic Pascha", third is "Jewish Pascha", they sometimes coincide. The celebration comes from story of Exodus, so no later than Babylonian exile, and is about sacrificial lamb that protected Jews from the plagues, specifically the final one that took the firstborn – in Christian tradition, Jesus IS the Lamb of God, and His sacrifice is celebrated, but otherwise it IS the same holiday. Reason I am pedantic with that is because the "people in Middle East stole muh tradishuns from white Europeans" is absolutely playing into their "ancient aryan" hypothesis. Christian Pascha comes from Jewish Pesach, there's absolutely no way around it... Claiming anything else is kind of like denying that Christianity began as a branch of Judaism.

Friends brought a CD with Zeitgeist on it back then. You know what made me safe from falling for conspiracies of 9/11 truthism and other stuff? The parts about Bible and Egyptian myths. Even as a kid, I knew it was bad history (easy to see that Set vs Horus myth is nothing like Cain and Abel), and glad someone touched on that years later.

@LadyLeda2 is there ANY source? ALL these claims about pagans having 25th of December celebrations BEFORE Christians have no mentions in history. It's the other way around, Christian church picked a day, and pagan mystery cults like Sol Invictus started adding celebrations on the same day AFTER... It's really hard to change that chronology when we have documents.
