Atlantis isn't even a myth! It's a fiction story. You know, there's stuff people actually believe for real, like the justice system, and things that are accepted to be made up, like Batman. Atlantis for Greeks was like a comic book story, it wasn't a thing they believed existed. Just a plot device from a book, things people read before TV.

@nco_gets_it okay that squinting thing to reveal ancient secrets is right from Mackenna's Gold and people LOVE these things, we just love riddles and puzzles, hence why theories of ancient advanced civilization make for good... videogame lore. It's good for Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed. Not for real stuff. Which is interesting in its own way but no lightsabers.

Because they want a videogame lore plot, like in Grandia, Mass Effect, or AssCreed. It's FUN, those games are well written! Unfortunately, they are literally computer games and shouldn't be taken for Gospel.

I've read the book, Moonraker is about a guy who escaped Germany and established himself as the richest person in the world, a very popular billionaire-philatropist celebrity who launched rockets into space (and cheated at games), until Bond found out he was working for a foreign government and held NS views all this time...
