We don't, we just believe in ancient stories. If you look at images of Ramses the 2nd and compare with his mummy, he looked nothing like that, and was a redhead. Dye job in his late years. We don't have Sasha's mummy.

It's one thing I got from this video eh... Some things never change.

@Thezombiekiller06 Bible has tons of legends, Jesus literally spoke to disciples in parables, DO YOU REALLY THINK THE SOWER WAS REAL?

@russellmiles2861 lmao Jesus of Nazareth and Mohammad were historical figures, so was Gautama Buddha, and even Joseph Smith!

@reitrace that's CAPTAIN Bible, he actually exists and yup, that's his lame superpower. Maybe Master Bible is his teacher?

"My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.”

@fwcolb we don't know if John the Disciple, John the Evangelist, and John the Revelator were the same people. There was also John of Patmos who might be the latter. Or not. It's worse with Marias. Pretty clear that Mary of Bethany and Mary of Magdala are two different people, but Catholic church for no reason combined them both AND a third unnamed "sinful" woman into one character for a LONG time. But if you were on a Latino wedding, you'll understand.

You have a deranged lunatic playing golf try to annex Greenland just because and his idol from Valdai club invading every country he can because he likes to see colors on map changing but can't install Europa Universalis. They don't need religion, or history, or ANYTHING to justify imperialism. As to Canaanites, there were Baal worshipers who sacrificed children, that's pretty scary tbh.

"He prayed on Fridays with the Muslims, on Saturdays with the Jews and on Sundays with the Christians. 'Since each religion claims that it is the only true one and that the others are invalid', the king explained, 'I have decided to hedge my bets.'" –Ibn Rustah about some king. I am picturing Beni from the Mummy on a throne.

Kyiv is in the same time zone just a bit north... still hasn't recovered.

@nadashaker6037 the historical Philistines from Iron Age, specifically, are NOT native to Canaan, but one of sea peoples that came from Europe, Cyprus and the Balkans. The NAME is related, but only because or Romans being mean, in reality, locals have NOTHING to do with them, and are instead descendants of people who always lived there with some mix in. Speaking Arabic language doesn't make one native to Arabian peninsula, as people in North Africa and Levant both maintained their unique genetics despite the assimilation into Arabian culture.

I love Revelations because it's 1) Metal. 2) mentions a star called Chornobyl falling poisoning the rivers, author could have NO idea about stars having nuclear reactions in them. Or, you know, Ukrainian place names. Locals were called Scythians back then.

@david2804me Roman and Greek mythology originally existed independently before Romans and Greeks even learned of each other. People love to find patterns and similarities but often they're just that: Zeus and Jupiter aren't the same god, and nobody ripped off anybody as people who worshiped either didn't meet each other until later.
