@carolannmiles3079 Macedonian, not Caucasian, I am not sure if there were Greeks in Caucasus at that point (there were kingdoms like Georgia and Armenia in Classical era) but Ptolemy was a guy from Alexander of Macedon's army.

@emilybarclay8831 we literally don't know who Cleo's mother was, and her statues were made in both Macedonian Greek (as a redhead even) and Egyptian style (in a black wig), as she took part in native rites like ceremonies installing the new holy cow the Buchis bull, and learned Egyptian language, so there's no way Cleopatra VII herself was a Greek supremacist, also I am not sure who would allow or disallow something since they spent most of the time feuding each other at that point, Cleo had her half-sister strangled by Romans in a triumph after beating her in a naval battle, and her brusband rebelled against her when he turned like 12.
