Santa Claus was literally a dude named Nicholas.

@jonathonjubb6626 we have literally Paul's letters, it's funny you decided to claim one of the few actually confirmed authors wasn't real... Why not go further, let's say Buddha, LaVey and Aalewis never existed.

Akhenaten's "heresy" is an EXTREMELY important event in Egyptian history, they didn't just "not record it on stone", they went out of their way to erase all mentions of him. Damnatio memoriae.

@annepoitrineau5650 Yeah, people should stop taking ancient numbers literally, not only methodology is always questionable and hyperbole ruled the day, there's also multiple cultures using a a large numeral to mean "a lot", good example is Japanese Banzai, it means "10 000 years", but the meaning is "long live the Emperor". So "millions", "myriads" and other "aeons" often really just meant "a f&$kton".

@proverbalizer in what universe Iset having sex with Osiris is "virgin birth"? This "theory" was popularized by a conspiracy movie Zeitgeist that also says 911 was an I side job and nobody went to the Moon, they do very bad mistakes in Egyptian mythology like claiming that Horus was resurrected and had 12 disciples, which isn't in any Egyptian source at all.

15:34 This is a rather strange statement, do unbiased sources on any pharaoh, or someone like Socrates, exist? Obviosuly in this case, some are sympathetic (like Torah), others are critical (i.e. Manetho), and everybody has their bias. Like many people know Caesar from Asterix comics, and he's the bad guy there, but of you watched the movie Cleopatra first, suddenly he's not that bad. Ofc any Roman account will be super biased by default. I feel it's another "no prophet in his own country" thing.

@juhabach4802 you missed the whole Aalewis as the prophet of atheism, without whose non-professional quote making skills they won't be euphoric.
1
@ToutCQJM irrelevant. Lord of the Rings never happened, but Tolkien himself supported the applicability of situations to real life.

Out of ALL actually magical things in that story, the one you find most implausible is children being dropped? This literally still happens in real life.
1
@StanTorrent you missing the humor that leaving children to the elements is far more attested in history than talking bushes, staffs turning to snakes, or the sea getting parted.
1
@megag52 you seriously just compared the Bible with "love your neighbour as yourself" to Stallone vanity project where a guy with bad plastic surgery roasts a strawman stand in for his son?

Moshe Dayan was singular, as was his eye.

It somehow gets overlooked by many Christians too (saying this as a Christian myself), the sheer amount of priests who side with politicians who are against migrants is insane.

In 2025, the pharaoh's name is poo tin: always given a chance to make peace and always getting his allegedly existing heart hardened. And if Greenland invasion will become real, we'll have a version from Temu.

Netanyahu is using any religious or historical or whatever context to justify staying out of prison, it's a character problem.

We don't, we just believe in ancient stories. If you look at images of Ramses the 2nd and compare with his mummy, he looked nothing like that, and was a redhead. Dye job in his late years. We don't have Sasha's mummy.

It's one thing I got from this video eh... Some things never change.

@Thezombiekiller06 Bible has tons of legends, Jesus literally spoke to disciples in parables, DO YOU REALLY THINK THE SOWER WAS REAL?

"My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.”

You have a deranged lunatic playing golf try to annex Greenland just because and his idol from Valdai club invading every country he can because he likes to see colors on map changing but can't install Europa Universalis. They don't need religion, or history, or ANYTHING to justify imperialism. As to Canaanites, there were Baal worshipers who sacrificed children, that's pretty scary tbh.

@david2804me Roman and Greek mythology originally existed independently before Romans and Greeks even learned of each other. People love to find patterns and similarities but often they're just that: Zeus and Jupiter aren't the same god, and nobody ripped off anybody as people who worshiped either didn't meet each other until later.
