  1. Fluent and understanding are different things yeah, for example every Ukrainian and Belarusian understands each other on 90% but good luck writing two words without making 3 mistakes. Both could be easily better at speaking russian than actual russians, but this doesn't go the other way around. I don't know how much cross-language contamination is on Balkans or, say, Nordic countries. I remember watching the Bridge and have Danish guy correct Swedes on mispronouncing Denmark related stuff. They also have very different way of writing same things.

  3. Funniest is he keeps making racist jokes about himself "that's why I didn't go in school" etc., you can take Bosniak from Serbia but you can't take being a Serb from a Bosnian or something.
