Chad Europeans, we QUIT drinking by 21.

Oh absolutely, people traditionally soak shish kebab meat in marinade overnight before frying it on open fire. You absolutely CAN marinade whole chicken breasts or steaks, and it will help preserve them, but the main dish for marinades were always small cuts... oh and the guy who said they do nothing, he must be very WASP or something, being unable to tell apart seasoned meat from plain.

Everywhere. The "t" is silent, like in tRump.

Pomme Puree referring to mashed potatoes is downright EVIL as APPLE PUREE is also a thing, and ordering a toddler friendly dessert and ending up with mash is ridiculous!

Anglos not pronouncing H in Honor (Гонор), BUT pronouncing TWO in Hallelujah (Алілуя) will never be not funny. People speaking only one language manage to get everything wrong in it.

@leschab in Ukraine, the kombucha scoby is called a Tchainy Hryb, which is just Ukrainian for tea mushroom. As a kid I thought people find this special "tea shroom" somewhere and then it grows and pees into your bottle with its tentacles, only recently learned it's a bacteria colony that you can grow yourself.

in Ukraine we know Kazakhs more than the British Jew making fun of Americans filming in Romania for Borat. Kumys is probably first association we have with it though, not apples. Alga, Qazaqstan!

Not in "horde" though (орда), or "hotel" (отель), but in Ukrainian, it's "готель". Thankfully, we got spared from either "h" in Hallelujah, Helena, or Hellenes.

U also have bagged milk and special twisted on themselves knives to open it, which is also a thing in Ukraine. Aka European Alberta.

Dude is so bad at making wine he runs a vinegar empire. Indeed if someone's wine is bad you say "dude this tastes like vinegar!" xD

We say lay-tenant in Ukraine. With stress on last syllable.

We would still discover alcohol as it's naturally occurring in grapes and fruits that are overripe. Birds love to get high on fermented berries. They can have air crashes because of drunk flying, too!

@dimesonhiseyes9134 that's what Americans call "white people" and everyone else calls "Americans/British", they have some weird fixation on avoiding every single way of seasoning food (or using vegetables) at all costs. Like in any South European or West Asian recipe you put meat into as much stuff you can as long as possible then cook it with tons of veggies. Not plain piece of meat and peas or beans on their own.

@Slidaulth unseasoned meat tastes worse than one with seasoning, period. What's up with Westerners trying to prove marinades, sauces and spices aren't important? Do you have any taste buds at all?

regular industrial vinegar is okay-ish for clearing off rust, and especially scale if you have hard water leaving white residue on teapots and pipes, BUT citric acid is both safer and cheaper. The whole "cola can drink drain pipes" thing is because it has citric acid inside it, I get powdered one for cents and especially with hot water, it instantly cleans any kettle, acid just reacts with base, which the scale is made from.

In the US, the true American way to eat their horribly bland food (easily second worst cuisine in the world after forever champ, the British), is by putting shoes on the table while throwing soccer handeggs with the banjo you hold in one hand, and shооtіng schoolchildren with the other. Don't forget to betray 2-3 allies each dinner!

THE T IS SILENT FFS!!! It's noo-gaa.

Survivor bias selection. Guys who tasted that, survived. Those who tasted some other stuff, didn't.

Marinade the shashlyk meat. However you call it locally, shish-kebab or what. Soaking it oovernight gives it a better taste than just seasoning and immediately grilling. And use more veggies, I don't think Westerners know how to cook meat honestly. A lot of jokes about British conquering the spice ways... to avoid using spices.

Broiler is Bush's legs, right? The mistake of the century, giving poor starving ru zziorks feet of the president of united states (ножки буша) only for them to completely control the entire US government in 2025 and running it into the ground.

We have very cheap Otset in Ukraine, which I assume is chemical as it's relatively flavorless compared to apple and grape one and transparent, and I used it for both cleaning rust and technical cooking needs, like making conservation, which is very important thing. We pickle everything.

0:53 OMG they measured chicken breasts with "science". HAVE YOU TRIED EATING THEM?! They taste differently. Duh!

7:20 IT'S RAW! Where's Gordon Ramsay when you need him? You're eating raw meat. It might as well get up and cross the road.
1
@Doggieman1111 Of course you can! That's like saying that you cannot salt the meat while it's already cooking, adding spices at ANY point in cooking will affect the taste. Duh!

In Ukraine too.

I put this stuff on second monitor because I need work done on PC in photoshop or whatnot and without external sound the internal thoughts get too noisy!
