  1. I kinda hate this rhethorics now. Bothsiding is a gaslighting tactic: no, you can't pretend violently fighting back against slavery or genocide is the same as being the aggressor. I'm Ukrainian so biased in current wars so let's take another example: Ever heard of Yugoslav wars in 90s? Probably something like "all sides committed war crimes". This is a manipulation. That entire war was in Bosnia, and two other factions tried to ethnically cleanse Bosnian lands from Bosniaks. Literal concentration camps. Later in Balkans Kosovo was the victim and Serbia the aggressor. No other way. They are also trying to equate Tigray war with bothsideism (rebels are the victims) or Syria (90% of kills are by Assad and pro-regime forces) or even cases as clear as 80s Afghanistan, where USSR was invading a sovereign country, Mujahedeen were the good guys defending their land. But to this day we SOMEHOW get defenders framed as "terrorists".

  2. You dont think that saying "escalation" is contriversial but it IS. This rhethoric is literally used in ongoing wars to gaslight victims of genocide and frame them as equals to aggressor for fighting back. This argument led to thousands of Ukrainians dead because weapons didnt come in time in misguided escalation fears. There was no winter counter-offensive because we lacked Western armor. Now we do, we are taking way higher losses because we lack aircraft, etc. We heard enough Westsplaining to us about "not provoking russia," or "saving putin's face" and now you're loterally Whitesplaining that fighting back agaisnt slavery is a "both sides" issue. NO. Just no. Stop it.

  3. Lmao what level of gaslighting is this? The russia itself recognized Donetsk and Luhansk as part of Ukraine, always. They only claimed it, along with two other regions they failed to conquer in 2022, after killing thousands of civilians. Also currently russia is attacking Kherson, blew up a dam, and rigged the biggest nuclear power plant with explosives. Neither are in Donbas... So GOOD LUCK GLOWING IN THE NAME OF PUTINS YACHTS AND HIS OLIGARCHS MANSIONS.
