@Fudelan seems to be the other way around. Melted iron loses its strength. Swords and even ploughs were not made from liquified iron, it's Hollywood myth. They were cast from solid parts. And what Danilo said, earliest Iron nations could field was meteorite one, to the point the Egyptian word for iron was literally "sky metal".

@WannabeCanadianDev not sure about Halo, but Mass Effect has ancient aliens grooming, then eradicating civilisations in 50 thousand year cycles, while Assassin's Creed has ancient ones being sorta last survivors of eradicated proto-civ, both games making the precursors incomprehensible for us due to using a form of sixth sense... As bonus point AC: Odyssey goes directly into Atlantis during classical age so must have most parallels with Bronze Age civ.
