Theban Band was super gay even for Ancient Greece, there were called Army of Lovers for a reason. @I really hate making up names for this kind of stuff it was specifically, pederasty, with young boys being preyed upon by older (often married) men and accepted as rite of passage even. You can still get that in modern armies as part of Dedovshchina first in USSR, and now, russia. BTW, the passage in New Testament that talks about "homosexuality" is specifically using Greek words that condemn both older and younger men in such unions.
