  1.  @Madhattersinjeans  "When your main exports is pillaging and trade people tend to forget about the trade..." not when the trade includes said pillaged goods and captured SLAVES. So even traders were in that. Kinda like when you're with the mob but not an enforcer just someone who launders the currency. The word "slave" comes from Slavs because vikings traded THEM so much.
