  2.  @armorsmith43  Assad is just their puppet who guarantees no pipelines competing with russian ones will come through Syria. It's all about oil and gas. Nothing to do with russia being trustworthy, they literally invaded tons of their (now former) allies at this point, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova etc. also chickened out and betrayed Armenia.
