Reason Eurovision isn't popular in USA is the same why nobody in Europe plays handegg and baseball bats are just melee weapons. It's Americans trying to be too unique and isolated for their own good. I mean, I've actually seen Nascar and American Football games on TV and also Baseball is popular in Japan and South Korea so there's no reason for US and Europe to pretend there's some irreconcilable differences with people who use British imperial system to measure things.
