There can't be serious civil unrest in russia. In fact, last time they had substantial protests in 2012, people were calmed by invading Ukraine. They became even poorer as result, but the screams of "Crimea is ours! What's next?" were drowning the voices of hunger... As their economy went further down the drain, only full scale invasion would have calmed russians down and you can see how trust in government skyrocketed with each town in Ukraine razed to the ground. Their stomachs are rumbling, but seeing videos of bombed-out Ukrainian homes and pictures of dead children calms russians down. They know that their poverty pays for weapons that bomb schools and hospitals... Their population is incredibly violent. Even opposition like Navalny, ran on program of "build less palaces, more bombs!" As he said in his films. And with Germany paying russia billions of Euros every week, they won't run out of ordnance anytime soon.
So there won't be civil unrest in russia as long as EU keeps arming russia to the teeth by buying fossil fuel from it... There's an old joke about the eternal battle between content of your fridge and your TV, and in russia, television always keeps winning... Like any Soviet engineer could say: "we are poor and starving but at least we can bomb Europe to the ground and make them live just as bad! So proud of my country..."
