@goldbullet50 Ukrainian, Polish and Australian troops were helping defend USA in Iraq, and helping the alliance in Afghanistan. We're all in this together, like it or not. Isolationists need a reality check.

@robertfoster347 anyone attempting to cede Ukrainian territory will get 15 years to life prison time. That's our law. Also, being against joining NATO is also unconstitutional. Ukraine will cede nothing. Not even a centimeter. Capisce?

Ukraine won't be convinced by anything short of a full NATO membership and virtual article 5 button. Telling you as Ukrainian - any of Zelenskyy's plans for other "security guarantees" outside of being in NATO are seen as second Budapest Memorandum. Also, even then we won't feel safe as long as russia exists. The thing that would REALLY help is pulling a Carthage: basically, after bulldozing moscow to the ground, the Earth needs to be salted so there's nothing growing on it later. Bakhmut salt will do, we saved a stock just for that. Also, it should be FULL embargo on ANY trade with russians and complete ban on them entering civilized countries... that's AFTER their army is destroyed, war criminals persecuted and reparations paid. We need confidence that nothing will EVER spring up on former russian territory. Period.

No mechanisms to kick members out just means Uncle Sam needs a talk with Turkish government while EU does a collective tolchoking of Orban. Works EVERY TIME. Neither of these countries have a say, they are only trying to get concessions for bending over, which they do anyway.

China, the biggest exporter, fighting against literally people who pay money to get their stuff makes no sense. Chinese might go at war against India or what's left of russia, but not the West. That's like bridal gown makers declaring a war against marriage. Incomprehensible. The russia is only threat and their puppets like Iran, Belarus and Israel who give them drones, should be destroyed after moscow is bulldozed.

In its entire history russia had maybe like seven years in a row of no full scale wars, from 2000 to 2008. Don't worry, it will be invading everything it can for as long as it exists - hopefully, not for long, so we can move to finally enjoying the russian civil war.

@assertivekarma1909 why would we NOT hold someone selling out to the devil against them? Anyone ever supporting russia in any capacity decides to be ridiculed for it. That includes Israel selling russia weapons, Germany sucking oily pipes, France... just being their white flag-waving selves. US having "reboots" less a year after russia invaded Georgia is also to blame. If any country supporting russia was embargoed by entire world there would be no war, period.

If NATO doesn't destroy russia when it attacks NATO territory, then NATO is effectively dead. There's no discussion further, it has only ONE purpose: to defend against russian invasion. The problem with NATO not defending Ukraine shows it as hypocritical and selfish, it not defending an actual member would be the end of it, period.

There's nothing special about it: NATO exists for one and only purpose, defend against russian invasion. The fact russians keep invading literally everyone who isn't in NATO (look at map of Africa, russians had Wagners invade at least half of it, even worse in Middle East) gets invaded by russian people. It's a fact of life and why russia needs to be eliminated as a state.

The russia doesn't have 200k troops anymore. They had them, lost like half and now are mobilizing every adult male while preparing children to be the next line of attack. If Finland or Poland opens a second front against russia, moscow will fall much sooner... but they all want us to win by ourselves, to afraid to get their hands dirty.

@invincible_hl3631 before German consulate, Romanian and Slovenian embassies were destroyed early on in the war. Anyway, all of this is irrelevant, consulates and embassies have the same status. And they're NOT considered the owning country's territory. Many wars before consulates and embassies were flattened and it did not lead to a war of embassies owners against the perps.
