He was wrong because he lied that US is reimbursing them not meeting THEIR OWN spending goals, which was a clear deceit. The NATO target of 2% is not obligatory and USA isn't covering up for Europe's shortcomings, considering Americans are ALSO not doing enough. Both are in the wrong, EU and US cannot even get PARITY with bloody North Korea in shell numbers. And then pat themselves on the back when Germany or something sends Ukraine 16k shells in two years, you know, the DAILY expenditure.

Yes, US with their behavior basically doomed Taiwan. Instead of sending a few troops to help Ukraine, the entire US army will now have to fight China, as Xi sees a clear signal that the weak sanctions can be bypassed, and nothing strategic or important was embargoed (i.e. oil). ALSO the Chinese see the West instead of decoupling itself from sniffing ru gas, is trying to find sources of semiconductors outside of ROC, clearly signaling that they ARE ALREADY ABANDONING TAIWAN, and invasion hasn't even started. Westerners ALWAYS side with the colonizer.
