Precedent will open the flood gates to companies forbidding people from doing things to stuff they own, like redecorating a house, or repainting a guitar, not to mention the right to repair on its own. It's companies DREAM to forbid people from tinkering with stuff they already bought because that would ease the already abusive practiced of planned obsolescence, proprietary components, or charging premium for a regular quality item by limiting up the lesser model artificially. I a not even talking about things like overclocking above warranty performance, but stuff like paying to unlock factory-locked-but-already-there functions, which Teslas learned to do on their own.

It's free to watch so people earn by showing ads, either through AdSense or sponsorships. Alternative is donations/Patreon but it's just another revenue that supplements advertising.

  11.  @adamozmin8970  Eh, companies learned that targeting broad demographics is generally a fail, hence why even on YouTube, most of money is in targeted advertisement... there's little point advertising used Lamborghini dealership on a cooking channel, so when I watch those I get annoying menstrual pads ads instead lmao. Also, companies DO try to do ads in this quirky style, but they end up with "fellow kids" syndrome (except for Old Spice or Axe ads, those were ridiculous in a good way) so generally, it's reserved for brands "casual" social media pages.

  14. 5:04 I always thought Nismo is just a tuning division like Spoon, TRD or Mine's, so I'd expect stuff like that, slight configuration change and pre-tuned suspension and brakes, and a body kit. Like, car coming pre-riced lmao. Never knew M in BMW was intended to be a performance thing, like the Oktoberfest krendel version of Type R, I thought it's a model designation! BMWs that were kinda cool when I was little were the Q branch Bond ones, 750il and Z3/Z8 roadsters. Not M. xD But a beemer will always remain an uncle car loved by men in midlife crisis and drunk russian gopnicks so they're a huge turn-off because of the BMW badge itself, slapping a GZ or RZ on them won't make them look as if they're something cool like a Toyota, you know.

Otherwise, beemers were always associated with gopnicks and small-time gangs here in Eastern Europe, though I've heard in the west they're popular among men in midlife crisis so kinda lame for the opposite reason. Get a Japanese car instead, they'll serve more, be faster, way better looking than a box, and nobody will cringe from seeing someone in it like we do with wannabe out of touch guys in BMWs.)))

  24. Lemon has acid, so does vinegar, problem is soda is a base, which DEactivats acid, making it clean WORSE. So by all means, use just lemon acid in water, or anything acidic to clean mold or to descale teapots, remove rust etc., OR clean with baking soda on its own, mixing the two makes them weaker. It's most basic chemistry.

  27. I literally just had an ad for Lamborghinis that had a cute guy play a Strat, get a coffee, walk out of a modern glass house, and get a Lambo in his garage. They target guys who want to look modern and live comfortable and girls who love guys like that. Ferrari should have capitalized on Outrun style crowd and "boy and girl ride into sunset on a tropical island" and make actual open top Testarossas and Spyders instead of getting a stick up their butt puckers and making cars for out of touch boomers.

  29. 5:10 one thing with lighbulbs, both incandescent (regular ones with a filament "thread" inside) and halogen, or even fluorescent "daylight" lamps, will output WAY less power by wattage than LEDs. In fact, you can replace a 60w ordinary light bulb with a 8w LED and get more light, and getting 10 or 12 watt light-emitting diodes will be an upgrade, and save power. I understand why he puts non-LED ones into old car, just sayin that LEDs will give more light at less power (two other types are too fragile for cars).

  39. Yes, my grandpa had a Skoda that lasted through the 1990s before he sold it in the 2000s, it was much better than any Soviet made crap, and was much more comfortable. It also had a green decal at the back, I think it was a rear engine one? I hardly remember cause I was a toddler.

  41. In Eastern Europe, the word "jeep" is a car category for an any off-road car that's smaller than a minubus or a truck. They're all called "jeeps", kinda like we call all copy machines "xerox", and diving equipment "aqualungs". Nowadays you see more crossover SUVs that stand out less from road cars than proper off-roaders and it all started with RAV4s, Pajeros etc., because on our roads you kinda need all the help you can get lol so might as well just treat it as off-road land.

Drivers who need placebo sounds because their old muscle cars that made whole hood jump up from the noise and the smell and way slower than silent electrics and hybrids, or because a stock hot hatch beats supercars from a decade or two ago, need a reality check. It isn't faster because it's louder, looking at people who remove the mufflers on their crappy motorcycles.
