@JensNyborg Ideally we hope for a major civil war inside of russia, with rival warlords fielding personal armies, that's why Ukraine plays up Wagner, Shoigu and Kadyrov conflicts. Without a full-scale civil war that turns russia into wasteland the rest are half-measures. Otherwise, even if we push them from Europe to Urals, they will shell us from there. Not acceptable. Only other option is Iraq style international intervention that hopefully starts with moscow being glassed.

1. This problem was largely solved on 24.02.22, almost everyone who was pro-russian changed their mind while being bombed. Few who didn't and work for the enemy are committing high treason and get life sentence. 2. West has TONS of russian oligarchs, tourists, migrants and their families, threatening to deport or jail them, confiscating property etc. would have helped save Ukrainian children, but there's a biological problem: we learned that nobody in Western governments has testicles.

@pquumm Then don't stop sanctions. Forever. Sanctions on USSR held out for half a century. Actually, embargo them. They either pay or they can't buy or sell anything. Simple as that. Turn russia into North Korea just with shittier infrastructure, no roads, and worse people.

That's literally what they want. The 1945 status quo where West bows down to moscow, and gives them half of Europe including Poland, Czech Republic and Baltic States. It's a non-starter because while Germany or France will agree to become russian territory, Ukraine never will. Yalta conference was the biggest disgrace of 20th century, there will be no russian in Crimea one way or another.

putin being Gaddafi'ed is just ONE of Ukrainian requests. At minimum russians will need to pay CENTURIES of reparations for us to stop the war. Ukraine will not declare peace on russia until they remove all of their soldiers from our land AND neighbouring regions, stop missile attacks, AND pay.

The only thing that endangers the continent is russia existing. They already blew the largest dam, next they blow up the biggest Nuclear Power Plant in Europe. If NATO, and EU, doesn't intervene, then they don't deserve to exist. Ukraine will win, the West can choose their role, and right now they're not doing enough.

Marines alone won't take moscow in three days, let's not become like russians in boasting. Strategic missile strikes are needed and full air supremacy campaign like in Iraq, with full coalition. and hopefully, UN leader strapped onto a missile to be useful just one time in his life. I think Unites States actually consider russian air defense very potent, which is a mistake, easily falsifiable with Ukrainian drones striking moscow at least twice now. And you know, Mathias Rust. An Iraq style coalition is absolutely possible but they don't want it. But the alternative is drying up russians in Ukraine much like in Afghanistan. This works worse because the fighting takes place on Ukrainian territory.

@rufaelmekuria6868 lmao how? The russia literally doesn't control outskirts of Donetsk, let alone adding any other land. Remember, battle for Marinka started in 2014 and russians still fail to take it. Adviivka too, it's literally right outside of Donetsk.

Literally nobody cares what people in russia think, least of all putin. He can just tell them that goal was to defend moscow and give Ukraine all bordering regions like Bryansk and Kursk and the russians will celebrate it as a victory. The russian population does not have any agency, and Ukraine proven that if we take territory russia claims as theirs, they simply stop mentioning it in the news, if you watch russian TV you see that Belgorod region was never russian to begin with. They ignore it. Pretend it doesn't exist. Because they don't control the border.

@teebodk3917 China, Taiwan, and both Koreas are like that. There isn't any corner for putin, there is NO law in russia. It's a one person property, if he delares Alaska as russian, they will accept. If he gives up all territory Ukraine will demand as reparations (Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Krasnodar and Rostov oblasts), then they will bow and agree those were never russian. The russia is literally just one miserable tiny psychopath's property. There is NO russia without putin. Period.

Oh they also see Odesa as "russian", since I was born there wasn't a year when russians didn't try to claim my city is "theirs"... so what? the only russians that reached it are floaters in our sea... they stink. Reality is IT DOESN'T MATTER what russians think. They literally only got one regional center city in 2022, and lost even that one. That's it. Treat them as invasive pests, nothing more.

More sanctions to russia and a complete embargo is the minimum requirement for russia to stop invading other people. Not even a single chip should be allowed to be sold there. Every single one of them explodes outside my window.

What people also don't understand is that they cannot make Ukraine give concessions. At this point I no longer argue with those who claim I need to gift my home to russians "for peace", I am telling them "you and what army?" Trump's idea of splitting Ukraine in 24 hours will end just as well as russia taking Kyiv in 72. With a column of tanks he sent burned near Bucha. What did South Africa expect to achieve with those 100 guys with machineguns anyway?

Ukraine will never accept that. Without being in NATO and EU, it will be another 2008-2022 situation when russia invades everyone and builds up army between invasions. We had enough. EITHER full NATO membership and security guarantees (immediate attack on moscow if a single russian ever steps over Ukrainian border), or we fight to the last russian. Period.

What level of copium are you? Ukraine is NOT giving up any territory, and it either joins NATO or keeps killing russians to the last one. There is no other option. Ukraine is NOT accepting conditions of 2008-2014 as they are what led to this war. Neutrality is NOT in consideration, period. You're just listing russian make-believes. Ukraine has ZERO territorial disputes we have a russian infestation. We just need more ammo to clean it. I had rats, my grandma had cockroaches in her house, those were harder to get rid of. But we did it. The russians are just slightly less intelligent.
