Bombing Kerch bridge timeline depends on literally drones or missiles getting through. We are trying to destroy it ALL the time. Not every day but periodically there's panic as something flies that way. As to insurance costs, sinking russian fleet is the only thing that can keep it down. As long as russia operates anything in water, waters would NEVER be safe. Not even a fishing boat should be allowed for russians to operate. No russian should be in Europe OR in our waters. Except under the surface I mean.

@MusicalMemeology some people still think NATO will grow balls or conscience but it became obvious when missiles land in Poland, fly through Romania regularly, and russians keep firing at Turkish ships and US drones that no amount of attacks on NATO will make them defend themselves. Ukraine is the only one who will fight and protect Europe as useless West surrenders immediately at every opportunity.

Oh Ukraine doesn't need a reason to keep hitting the illegal bridge, we are doing this all time because it's like our religion. Three things that should be bombed and destroyed: Nordstream pipelines, Kerch bridge, and moscow.

@perfredelius since 2014, either invade full scale or get frozen conflict that wastes resources with no gains (Minsk shenanigans)... Early 2022, get surrounded near Kyiv or retreat... on the other side, keep trying to encircle Mykolaiv, push to Odesa, or retreat to the river, then across it from Kherson... in Mariupol, keep throwing stuff at Azovsteel or let the garrison out... no further credibility loss than Azov commanders and Marines back in action (Turkey let them go). In sea and air they're pushed to be very careful because the dileema is losing another flagship or squadrons of jets or only acting from deep behind frontlines. Same with stretching supply routes on land since HIMARs and later, Storm Shadow appeared. Tons of no-win situation... mind you, russia is making these for us too, like moving air defenses to capital/West/away or wasting resources on civilian infrastructure over figthing on the front. They fail to make some too: nobody in Ukraine actually falls for "imminent attack from Belarus" after first one failed. So no extra resources sent up north.

Kerch bridge bombing is ideologically important for Ukraine. Apart from its logistical value, it's THE holy trinity of must-hit targets, along with moscow and Nordstream. The fact we managed to hit all THREE, multiple times, is just... I'm wet. It's sexually pleasing for Ukrainians to see every time a russian invader is forced to flee Crimea, when muscovites cry scared, and when gas doesn't flow to Germany yet. The NS pipelines built were the biggest loss for Ukraine in nearest history. Destroying them cannot be overstated. Now only thing that remains is russian tanker fleet and oil pipes (most of which we control) to completely stop them from selling fossil fuels.
