@bFlorida-m1t that's my point if we started training on F16s, Gripens and Mirages in 2022, our boys would be flying them in 2023, but we were refused training on Western planes because they said it would take "too long", "up to 16 months", so only AFTER more than a year passed, pilot training STARTED.

Because ru gets endless weapon components from USA and Switzerland, and more money from EU than Ukraine, this is a fact: last year Europeans gave pu tin more money for oil and gas than Ukrainians for weapons.

1) Pointless if it isn't used. 2) We are attacking their oil for more than a year now, not enough. 3) EU literally paid more to ru than donated to Ukraine last year. 4) Again, what's the point if it send zero (0) troops?

@NoName-cx3gk as a Ukrainian and seeing how they keep invading 11 years in, I can tell you that no European country except us would last even one year against them alone.

Yes, if Ukraine ordered Gripens or at least Mirages in early 2022 instead of waiting for F-16 (STILL donated from Europe), we wouldn't struggle as much with FABs and KABs later. USA was never our friend, it was neutral at best, always hoping for a stalemate and arming both sides.

@bFlorida-m1t You need training and infrastructure for planes, plus government needs to order manufacturer to make more.

@bFlorida-m1t Early on there were NO decision on Ukraine adopting Euro planes at all, whichever talks there were changed to getting old F16s and European countries replacing them with F35s. So it seems read United States tried to stop European plane sales and Europe would be stuck with American planes, but then USA refused to send (or sell) those to UA so we started training on Mirages way too late.

@onegerard there's war in the middle of Europe right now. I heard the Swiss ship 🚢 attacked with Iskander missile from my window. If you think it's too far away, we border Hungary and both them and Austria said they will let ru troops through without a fight. That means if we fall, they'll be at borders of Italy and Germany.

IT IS at war, ru JUST sank a Swiss ship, I heard it go down! They were attacking Western countries since Litvinenko, there's attacks on factories in Germany and Bulgaria, and the whole migrant crisis was created to attack Europe. Pretending you can sit this one away won't help you when you notice you ran out of shells in less than a week as Bundeswehr expects.

You underestimate Bundeswehr's capability and EU already paying more to Gazprom and Rosneft than spending on defense combined.
