People don't have cat filters on, nobody is eating into mic or endlessly echoing all sounds, and some even wear pants which IIRC automatically closes any Zoom call.

Typing is half the issue, mashing on keyboard to navigate mouse controlled interfaces is the best!

Eh, this one gets a pass: four ways media goes about it, most frequent one is how you cited, Starshucks or WcDonalds, anime loves it, second is acknowledging these fake names as ripoff stores in the show, I've seen characters being snarky about a chain store knockoff, third is sponsorship, SO many brands pay to be in some movie... Oh and finally there's also public domain or creators who don't give a crap putting real life stuff because it's either generalized enough or else.

@davidwuhrer6704 mostly it is used for CCTV cameras in 90s movies, which were infamous for looking like ass, they're usually something like 240 lines interlaced and B&W and people are from afar and there's NO way to add data that isn't there without literally drawing over it, which is what either AI or artist does, not zooming in.

If you ever tried to film a CRT with a camera you will know why in films they didn't even bother most of the time, though TV shows are a bit better about it... And no, making custom apps AND synchronizing what's on screen with the rest of the set isn't easier than phoning it in later.

U-phones and Yahee are done because of licensing, same reason anime has Picky sticks and Wcburger.
