  1. Yes it's also ridiculous to equate something made by pagans to be a pagan tradition. Is cooking pagan? Sewing clothing? Tons of stuff pagans did were secular. By this logic cars, fridges and lightbulbs are Christian because they were invented by Christians like no. Gunpowder was ACTUALLY invented as part of Taoist religious practices but nobody in their right mind claims it is a Taoist tradition, lol, or distilling spirits an Islamic one.

  2. One good example is how holidays adopted locally and palm Sunday which IS directly based on Bible scene is "verba Sunday" in Eastern Europe because we don't have many palm trees in Ukraine. So we use violet yew, aka verba, the tree used in Balkans to hoist Serbs traditionally.
