His Strongest Man in the World title is kayfabe. It's not even a record, it's an actual competition tile for strongmen (one gets to be chose each year), which Mark Henry did not get: sure, he has achievements in other competitions but he specifically never qualified at Strongest Man in the World. Just a bit of trivia because I hear that thrown around about multiple people and it was surprising it's actually a title you can earn, as a brand kind of gives it every year.

@DirtiestDMusic Jokes about Cody defeating racism with his penis aside, as FD mentioned, McMahon absolutely despised southerners and hillbillies, and Rhodes family were some of main targets of his bullying: Dusty with strange gimmicks, polkadot gear, and was paired with Sapphire, a black woman valet with strange story where she was brainwashed by Ted Dibiase, then his older son Dustin had Goldust, that weird sleazy sexual gimmick of even worse way that Mark Henry or Big Daddy V, and Cody was stuck with Stardust then dashing/undashing gimmicks. So baby blues aside, they were always treated horribly by WWE, only AEW success and Vince sidelined let Rhodes finally not being treated as literal trash.

I mean he's literally a guy who came out in a turban, harem pants, did a move called the Arabian press, was a nephew of original Sheik, and not speaking much is also part of a foreign heel gimmick. Eventually he got a Genie as his manager... But he also was tongue in cheek, like being booked from Bombay, Michigan. Like his character kind of relied on him mostly playing a foreigner in a circus show. Iron Sheik was different, I know him as he's a beloved social media hero who hated Hulk Hogan at the height of his first big racism scandal. Everyone loved bubba, he's like THE babyface of all time, GREATEST OF EARTH. I can't really imagine myself in an era where Terry Bollea is considered to be a good guy... I mean he was known for his doping scandals before outing himself as extreme racist. TO BREAK HOGANS BACK AND MAKE HIM HUMBLE!

@KingMike-un5vz If you're talking about Damage CTRL, Bayley is Pamela Rose Martinez, a Latina, and Dakota Kai is mixed Maori, a New Zealand native, with a Samoan, so there was never a white girl in the group. It's now made exclusively of Pacific Islanders.

Tons of guys were bad at the mic and got Paul Heyman or something to speak for him, notably Brock and Roman. They got better at mic LATER... also, a bunch of women champs like Iyo and Asuka barely speak English, at least not in promos. So yup, not an excuse.

Jazz and Jaqueline had it even worse, with exactly same experience you describe about Booker, it was absolutely race related and nothing else. Talk shows, mag covers, merchandise, nothing.
