I don't see how much clearer this needs to be. I understand that Ambassadors keep peace but, why are these people and Guiliani negotiating Arms Deals, conditioned on personal favors?? A dozen competent, seasoned and qualified negotiators had been handed their hats, left in the dark, or turned a blind eye?!
Rudy SHOULD be addressed by HIS title; Attorney Guiliani, Counsel for Donald Trump, Sr.! And treated accordingly!

Favor comma though!
That comma separates one intention from another. If it were just "I'd like you to do us a favor" it would be a simple request. Adding " , though" means that "the favor" is, by it's own part, a TRADE for the "though" part.

We ALL know that Trump was wrong. And now, we see how horrible his remaining supporters truly are! IF there were to be a "Civil War", like some fantasize, it will not be over Political Parties. If it comes to the brink of all things, Russia WILL make a move on the Americas!!! And I doubt that The Crown of England would allow that! The UK, Canada, Australia.. wouldn't allow it! when written and spoken words are used, the substance of one statement is separate from another, unless they are both related to the same subject. In that case, each item of subject within that statement will be itemized by punctuation. Like, I said, "do us a favor" on it's own, could be a request. By adding the "though" insinuates a completely different command. Hence the separation of thought and intention....
With a comma..
"You will get aid but, I would like you to do us a favor, though." Or "Though, if you want aid, I want you to do us a favor." Whether it is "Though, I want you to do us a favor" or "I want you to do us a favor, though" it is the same result. It is expressing the outlines of the first person's expectations.

I started to listen to Rep. Cole, at first. BUT, he continued to ramble on with no credibility in his statements. He didn't speak of the unfair ways Trump and his administration are withholding key evidence and witnesses that are imperative. He didn't explain why Senate Republicans are acting as turncoats against our Constitution. There is nothing that these fools have but to churn up old false narratives, old opinionated observations, and old adolescent insults. Have they NO shame?? I watched the Impeachment Inquiries, as millions and millions of others have, and the WHOLE World knows that Trump is guilty! And yet these fools have, like children trying to get out of trouble with lies and cries, embarrassed themselves, incriminated themselves and are castrating their own careers!! I don't think that we can even call them Republicans, anymore. They are TRAITORS!

The verbs are transposed. As when, an American would say "I walked to the store" some foreign speakers would say "to the store I walked". Same idea, different arrangement. No matter how people view Trump's perfect call, "favor, though" exactly expresses a Quid Pro Quo! A favor for a favor! Swapping favors is not illegal. But, One American asking a foreign Nation to, at least appear to, investigate an American political rival as a "favor" to benefit the first, is against our Constitution. After that situation began to unravel it had been discovered that Trump, withholding aid illegally, broke more than his Oath to uphold the Constitution, he has broken the Law! Extortion! Bribery!
