The entire reason for going there was for 9/11 3000 people died that day. So we went their and took 1:1000 ratio which is funny enough the same exact numbers we getting in Gaza.   7.  Rocksteady246  Seems you are you wanna say we lost in Afghanistan what is losing to you exactly? Money is replaceable Men are not. We lost very few for the amount of time we spent out there. The mistake for me was staying after Bin was captured. However the pay was good and I was able to see parts of the world I would have never thought of going to. With a Ratio like we achieved 1:1000 I call that a success and a deterrence to hitting our soil in the future.

However we caught our man took out many of his foot solders and took out 1:1000 which to me is a success and I am proud of the work we did. The fact you view it as a complete failure shows your lack of military goals and objectives. We where paid for a job and knew it's dangers also the benefit's that waited on our return. If you didn't you should have read the small print that's actually not that small when your in your 20's signing it. Lastly the Afghans you say we owe couldn't even hold down there country after we pulled out instead they showed there true colors which I didn't doubt in the first place as soon as we decided to leave. So we owe them nothing.
