  1. if anything, you're a bit harsh/reductive about western TV. I avoid embarrassing shows like kitchen night mares, but love constructive shows like Master Chef - admittedly, mainly the Australian version which is incredible supportive to contestants, who are in turn much friendlier than their American counterparts :). But without actual critique, watching people eat food just becomes incredibly boring, so true!
