I have scoliosis too and spent a little over a year wearing a brace, but hearing this account of wearing one 24/7 and ending up with no abdominal strength, I'm so glad my doctor told me I had to take it off for an hour every day, in which I could wash and had to do a set of exercises, morning and night. So glad! Shocking my classmates by loudly tapping on my belly was fun, though :)
