Also I would just like to point out to everybody in this comment thread that it turns out Penn State is lying. She meets all the requirements they set up not only for considering herself a first generation student, but also qualifies for the scholarship. She didn't lie about anything and tried multiple times to correct them when they misrepresented information. Turns out they're unhappy with her because she is a witness in a wrongful death lawsuit concerning a basement classroom that EMTs have now had at least two incidents of not being able to get to injured students in a timely manner. They're mad that she's going to get them in trouble with the truth of their negligence. So they're trying to take away her scholarship and her degrees. Penn State is absolutely being the aggressor here, and I look forward to them either admitting guilt through settling out of court or spectacularly losing their case that she has brought against them.

@bullitt7544 the more I dig into this the more problems it seems like Penn State has with taking students that aren't rich and embellishing their stories without their permission to make the university look like they are helping a bunch of poor kids save the world from all its problems. I'm watching them long video and it right now and there are many people in the comments who have gone to Penn State and had similar situations of misrepresentation of their past to make the school look better. All these schools care about is looking good and getting money and it's so sad

Right? My best friend through high school had a dad who made decent money but he was very irresponsible with how he spent it and sometimes she would even have to help him pay the bills. It was pretty frustrating to watch her get denied for help when going to college because of her irresponsible dad's income.

As far as what other people are saying, it sounds like she wasn't even lying. But started investigating the death of another student on campus and that's when Penn State decided to go after her and say that she was lying. She has a libel lawsuit against them and I don't think a lawyer would take her on if she didn't have somewhat of a case. I'm more inclined to believe her over Penn State.

Apparently she's not even lying, a lot of people in the comments are saying that Penn State is only investigating her because she's investigating another student who died there on campus. She's got a libel lawsuit against the school. It'll be interesting to watch as this plays out.

Right? Literally lying in this report. Penn State apparently decided to go after this girl after she started looking into a death of another student. And let's all be honest any scholar society based off intelligence that allows Bill Clinton into their ranks is not a society based off of actual intelligence.

Well you know it's a farce once you figure out that any of the clintons have been in it. Bill Clinton did one of the dumbest things you could do while in office. Cheat on your wife with a 20 some year old staffer. Let's not forget that he was a sh__ty president who did nothing for the American people. Rachel Maddow has never done anything to prove her intelligence to my knowledge. Gets up in tv and shouts like an annoying whine-@$$ and doesn't even have the guts to be honest.

Penn State is lying. They're mad she was looking into the death of another student on campus. She was in foster care after her mom pushed her down a flight of stairs. She does not get financial help from her family. And she does not speak to them. She also has a libel lawsuit going against Penn State university. A lawyer isn't going to take on a case they have no hope of winning.
