This is getting ridiculous. AND SHAME ON THAT NEIGHBOR

Sounds like the neighbor that calls the police on her all the time is just jealous of this hard-working, beautiful mom of five. I LOVE that she's not giving in!! You can tell she has good morals.

My little brother wandered into our neighbor's house so many times I can't even count them all. I guess my mom and I should have been arrested for not keeping our eyes on him every second of his life up until a certain age.

@ruthiebella also I just like to point out that unless you as a parent never sleeps, your child is going to be unattended sometimes.
12
@ruthiebella every minute of the day some child somewhere is wandering out of sight of the adult that's supposed to be watching them. And 99% of them don't get hit by cars. You need to stop creating criminal records and ruining the lives of parents over a pretty big maybe. That would also involve a negligent driver not paying attention to the road, being in the same place at the same time.

I'm so happy she's fighting this and honestly she should sue them after she wins her case. The state put all the parents in this position through a series of actions. They tax us up the wazoo and in return they are supposed to make sure that certain standards of living are met. But they take our money and refuse to deliver. It's time we put our foot down like this woman has. We cannot let them continue to extort hard working Americans out of their money.

@Strawn149 says the person who brought it up. What does it matter how she paid for it? She's A working woman and this free to spend her money how she sees fit. I think it's great that she's standing up for herself. I am so sick of people letting the states charge them with whatever bogus bs and then extorting money out of them. People need to stop allowing it. The more you allow a bully to push you around the more they're going to do it. The more you stand up for yourself, the less bullies mess with you. Here in the state of Michigan they'll allow drug addicted mothers to keep children while sending good mothers to jail over bs charges. But they have everybody so afraid of the state and the public defenders are so crappy that everybody just pleads guilty whether they did it or not. I wish all mothers were as strong as this woman.

I agree that 14-year-olds are perfectly capable of babysitting in this whole thing is quite ridiculous but I wonder what you mean by the second part.

Doubtful

Not that many. There were more kidnappings and murders back in the time when all the parents were leaving their kids home by themselves or with their older siblings. Y'all need to chill and stop being frightened by the fact that you used to only hear the local news and now you get to hear local news from all over the nation so it seems like there's more crime but there's not.

@ineedhoez did you just call a teenage girl an "it". Ya I don't think anything you say can be trusted.
2
@jacqueline3782 she has a beautiful house in a nice neighborhood and had her kids in daycare until the pandemic shut them down. She had all of her s**t together nicely before the government f***ed her over. Maybe use your brain.
2
Kids actually went missing more back in the '80s than they do now but sure, continue to be ignorant in the world of technology and cameras on every corner.
2
@nlahunter oh thank goodness. So sorry lol

You're a fascist and I don't accept that in my country. Please f__kin leave.

@2lucki333 I'm well aware of what can go on behind closed doors.

🤔 good question
1
Absolutely not. Why should she allow the state to extort her for money over something that's not a crime? She did nothing wrong. This is the situation the state put her in by making childcare almost unattainable. Quite frankly if I were her not only would I fight it but I would then sue.
1
@nlahunter her house is probably worth more than yours and all of her kids look happy healthy and sound well spoken. You guys are just mad that she's capable of being a single mother of five, having a nice life and well-behaved children.
1
@Strawn149 I took it to mean "if she can pay an attorney why couldn't she find someone to watch the kids." I misunderstood, my apologies.
1
@Strawn149 cool beans, I apologize again for misunderstanding and jumping the gun.
1
@rameychisum2891 how would she when her job is not remote?
1
So you're a helicopter parent.
1
You've clearly never been around children lmfao. Go on. Yell from the rooftops how ignorant you are to what it's like handling young kids.
1
@Annastasiaworldoffun no, why would I be creeping on your profile picture? How can I tell what's in your picture when it's smaller than a pencil eraser on a phone screen?
1
@Annastasiaworldoffun birds? That's a new one lol I don't have kids but was a live in nanny for two families and helped raise my brother for the first 3 years of his life because his dad was useless.
