Let's not pretend Amazon and big box stores don't also sell cheap chinese products.

A whole country with no morality
71
@freeman10000 money is evil. And it turns people evil.
61
Probably no utilities or waste management set up.
13
China didn't have a snowball's chance in hell getting Greenland.
11
That family just ruined their daughter's life. I hope she moves far away from them and never speaks to them again!
10
I've been saying for a long time that the one child policy was going to be China's ruin.
7
It is absolutely wrong and unacceptable to charge people for not having children, when you do not make sure that your economy and your country is good for child-rearing!! How could your government do this and it be accepted?
7
Well the regular jobs also don't pay well for what they ask of you. If the pay matched the demands and time spent doing it, more people would do normal jobs. America needs tons of bridge inspectors.but the government won't pay a wage that is attractive to people. So guess what we're still short on. Beidge inspectors. You can't blame people for not taking jobs that no one is paying them properly to do. We all got bills to pay and those bills keep getting higher.
6
You could tell the whole time she was sitting there that she was not a part of it, she looked mortified.
6
@joeswanson733 if she stays near them, yes. She needs to move out of the country, or her whole life will be miserable no matter what she does.
6
If you're 30 and you want to date someone who's 18, you want someone you can control and mold to your own being. You don't want a partner to love.
5
For what?
4
If people can't afford to consume in a consumer based economy, the economy will crumble into dust.
4
😯
4
The point of scamming people is to do less work than an actual job. These people are putting in so much work they might as well go put that effort into something constructive. They kind of lost the point of scamming people.
4
Literally stealing balloons from a child. How can they live with themselves??
4
Why is that lady saying there should be more c-sections throughout the day? Do they not believe in giving birth naturally anymore in China?
3
Not many others are pointing this out. Thank you
3
Same thing with house cleaners. My mom had her own cleaning business through the 2000's to about 2011-2012 ish. The 2008 crash took several of her customers. Even the ones with extravagant things. Some of her biggest clients lost jobs during that time. This is the same thing again. All people who provide luxury services are going to start hurting for money.
3
I mean, really, your entire rant is so out of touch with the economic environment of China. Have you never heard a single thing about this country before?
3
China does have a lot of empty infrastructure. They like to build things they don't need in hopes they can find a use for them.

@DistroyTheDecoy actually you can't just look at the ratings anymore. I noticed a while ago that many 5 star reviews actually had negative things written, and no way would people type all that negative stuff out and then give a 5 star rating. Amazon is changing the star value people give products to boost the rating score. Now, if you truly want to know what a product will be like, you have to go to the reviews, sort by one star, and look at all the lowest star ratings. That's where you'll learn what the product really is.
2
😂😂😂😂 Christianity is the fastest growing religion in China. And they've had religion this entire time. America has a lot of religious people in it but does not do good things. How do you add that up?
2
Why the fork would a 30 year old WANT to date an 18 year old? I'm 30, and when I hang out with people in their early 20's, I can't imagine dating or sleeping with them. Let alone an 18 year old. These men are gross.
2
I wouldn't be surprised.
2
@jonhelmer8591 Since I learned about it when I was a teenager. So a little over a decade. It's really sad to see that I was right. But I mean, it was the obvious outcome. Everyone should have seen this coming.
1
@VitoAnthonyD.-ow7oo You could tell the whole time she was mortified and didn't want this to be happening. Her mother ruined her life.
1
Greenland was never ever going to consider becoming part of China. Don't be silly.
1
@heathervandewalle8954 I actually saw some stuff about Canning. That might be worth looking into because of changes in how products are made. Including the stuff people use to can their food.
1
@metternich05 we think that, but the truth is these companies contract the work put to many different manufacturers that we have no way of overseeing the quality or processes of. That's why so many companies have been caught using slave and child labor, and every time they just go "🤷♀️ Well, we didn't know, it was a contracted factory that did xyz." We think these companies are overseeing quality and such, but they aren't. They're contracting the work out to factories staffed by children and people paid slave wages.
1
@timwalkerfukyt That's not a good attitude to have. We shouldn't just allow people to use up the resources we have on this Earth to make tons and tons of products that don't work or that make people sick. We have regulations for a reason, and countries like China need to get with the program or be banned from selling their products here.
1
@sirlonnaldii9110 the point was "don't shop fast fashion because it uses cheap/slave labor and cheap materials. But that's literally everyone. Even expensive brands are made in the same factories by the same labor force. There is no escaping this unless we completely stop buying products from entire countries.
1
@la6136 you think that, but it's not true. There are no regulatory boards checking these products until AFTER they cause illness or death. All these companies are using the same factories with the same cheap or slave labor. Even the expensive ones. And a lot of things "made in America" are also made with cheap and slave labor. One of the reasons our prison population is so large is that they're a source of free labor for American companies. They no longer work to better society when they're in prison. They work for corporate America for pennies an hour while all their needs are marked up exponentially, think soap, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, etc. And no, those things are not provided by the prison. Prisoners have to pay way more for these cheap items than anyone else would pay for them.
1
@StardustLegacyFighter babe, people buy things in bulk on Temu and Shein and then charge you 5x-10x more for it on Amazon, Walmart, etc. You ARE buying the same quality if you're buying from Amazon, Walmart, Target, Meijer, etc. I've seen seeing clothes on the rack in Platos Closet, and they're the exact same quality (or better) than the Walmart No Boundaries brand. You are not escaping buying these cheap products if you shop at any normal store. And most high end stores make their products in the same factories.
1
@BrotherHood-xh9sg what standards do you think they have to meet?
1
@Tangypop-v7x they're the same products babe
1
@metternich05 those top brands are made in the exact same factories as the noname brands. Just so you know.
1
Yep. That's what happened in America in 2008. People went from living in big homes with nice cars and clothes to being homeless and jobless. If their cars were paid off there would be no sense to trade them in for something you'd have to pay a loan on. So you'd have people in nice cars and clothes showing up to the food stamp office. And the people that grew up poor thought these people were scammers. They were just people who used to be fine who are now struggling. No sense in selling paid off things for cheaper, worse versions. So of course they kept their nice clothes and things that wouldn't sell for near their original price.
1
@Velereonics it was rough for a lot of families. My mom owned a house cleaning business at the time and a lot of clients dropped off because they couldn't afford luxuries like that anymore.
1
@aglaea-k2p this is why the world is always out of whack. The rich are not smart. They have no sight for long term. They will destroy themselves if they keep this up.
1
I'm going to ignore the fact that you didn't use a single period. Trump is not worrying about our hemisphere. He is angering all of our allies and giving up all the soft power we had built up around the world. China will fill our shoes and curry favor with these poor nations we're now refusing to help. Greenland is not one of them.
1
There are only a handful of governments on earth that are more incompetent than they are greedy and corrupt. The CCP is one of them.
1
Here's the thing though it was their job to feed their children. It was also their job to maintain functioning societies and they failed. So what do we actually owe them? Because we're all suffering for their incompetencies.
1
A chicken carcass is already as cheap as you can get as a business. Then they go and fry it in nasty old oil? Sorry but that's decidedly evil. All people who do this sort of thing for money, their souls will rot and fester for all of eternity.
1
@aaap3875 you've gotta be smoking craxk to think any of those economies are doing good.
1
@brainletmong6302 you have a very good point. What if we could utilize these people to scam money away from bad people that got a lot of money in bad ways.
1
@ThatFire9oNe6 and as long as money exists so will the list and greed for it. Making it inherently bad.
1
Wow. This entire rant of yours is based on an economy like America's. Theirs is nothing like ours. Here, if a business steals all your money, you can get it back through court. There, you're shit out of luck. And many industries in China have taken millions of people's money and then run with it. Homes, apartments, even child care and banks. These are people who have had their savings and their investments stolen right out from under them with no recourse or way to recoup their loses. Entire cities are being built and left empty.
1
@fialee8 A lot of their jobs are for scam companies that do things cheaper and faster than is actually possible. A lot of people make less than poverty wages in factories, and many more live in poor villages that look like they are out of an old-time movie.
