It's pretty dumb to do anything but smoke weed for anxiety trauma or any other mental anguish you're suffering from. Any other drug besides weed is going to make it worse, and I'm very much including psychedelics in that because people dose too high. You don't need two tabs of acid to deal with your childhood trauma you need to go see a f**** therapist and stand up to your parents.

There are more religious people that are addicted to drugs, in jail, and carrying around STDs than there are atheists in any of those numbers. Mostly because there's way more Christians than atheists but the point still stands.

I'm sorry but methadone and the other drugs she mentioned are not the answers to addiction. They aren't in recovery!!! People take those and continuously fall right back off. We absolutely need to address why they are so unhappy that they would risk their life for a stupid drug. Because that's the bottom line. My cousin's dad just died a couple months ago from drug overdose, he is such a loser but he left behind an amazing child and she is so bent out of shape about it. We need to get them to confront what they're so unhappy about before they end up in a casket surrounded by loved ones. Personally I have more pictures of me, my mom and dad at his funeral than from when he was alive. He died so young. In jail, due to heart complications. He might have lived it the cops had shown compas and called 911. But they didn't and I'll never have a dad for that. People need to take responsibility and confront the part of them that cares so little about their loved ones that they would do that to themselves.
