Google needing to do 15 to 20 interviews isnt a sign of them being great employers. Its a sign of severe disorganization and an inability to weed out the incompetent early on. Pathetic. EDIT: any more than 2 interviews is wasting time and shows mismanagement and a disjointed leadership.

Yep! Clearly Google isn't competent in weeding out those not suited for them early on. No job on earth should take 15-20 interviews. Not a single one.

Because capitalism does not breed efficiency. It breeds greed, and useless positions that waste money, time and human effort.

So basically they should just be given a proficiency test, and that's it.

@derelictmusic3218 If they're doing so many interviews for tech jobs, why do most websites still f_cking suck? I say this as the fiance of someone who makes beautiful, functional websites. And he's stuck working in a kitchen.

@samsonsoturian6013 Who wouldn't? My opinion is they're wasting some of it on too many interviews. Tech companies clearly aren't getting the best candidates because most websites for large companies are buggy, ugly, and outdated.

@memelord7821 5-7 is still way too many and they need to figure out how to interview more efficiently to respect people's time.

@huemann7637 Capitalism and free market economies do not go hand-in-hand. In fact, they're the natural enemies of one another. You can't have a free market economy when you have capitalism.

@samuel.andermatt that's too many interviews in my personal opinion. Like I said, they're not very good at picking candidates if it takes them more than 1 or 2 interviews to figure it out.

@jamie6387 no, I'm not smart enough for tech jobs to begin with. Not my Forte, ya know? But my fiance is in the tech field.
