  1. How did it get so cheap? Government subsidy and every increasing market fraud to increase the costs and operating costs of traditional alternatives thereby making solar falsely appear more competitive. They also commonly lie and manipulate the market economics. Solar and wind traditionally receive free rides on the backs of traditional energy suppliers. Solar and wind might make sense for end users but beware the deception of anyone telling you it's a good deal for the grid.
