  1. Yeah I can't see a ceasefire happening until the end of summer. The Rasputitsa is gone in one month. Right now what's held everything back is the fact that the offensive for all intents and purposes began in Spring (the worse time to fight in the Steppe) and was characterized by lots of fighting on roads and in cities because tanks would get stuck on the soft muddy ground. Hitler and Napoleon invaded Russia on June 21st and 20th respectively. The worst is yet to come. Full on Eastern Front warfare will be here in one month. We'll see what happens now that both armies are ready to fight a true mobile war.
