@ArawnOfAnnwn The question was if Iran could invade Isreal. The answer was no. The reason for this is based on the geography and current capabilities of the countries involved. To that end, none of what you said has anything of relevance here as it simply wasn't the question. Even if they did have the capabilities in one aspect, Isreal's current capabilities would be enough to repel such an action.
Fundamentally, however, the US doesn't need normalization with Saudi Arabia since it's an allied state. Both Saudi Arabia and Isreal were already normalizing relations on their own. Now, you're correct in saying this was an attempt to torpedo relations. However, the US is largely a spectator in this being really not super important to the process. But more importantly, the only thing this is is a destabilization mission, as has been the way Iran has mostly interacted with the region for decades now. Now that it can do forever, but don't pretend like this is actually some sort of fight. This is just normal regional politics.
Also, who is the "you" in the context of losing to insurgency actions?
