  1. Yeah a lot of times the jobs that should take you just for showing up don't. Only reason I have the job I do right now is that mine was desperate for people as well.

  11. While I don't entirely agree, two days ago I had a woman asking for help and everyone was busy so we'd get to her in a bit. But the store was running on 3 people + manager so we were all busy and so she asked "Do you only have 3 workers?" to which I replied "Yeah basically." Though to be fair... doesn't really need a lot to run. It's just a store and honestly the only reason we even have 3 is because someone runs the register and we have a separate center that requires someone. Overall there's not much to do so you could run it on one person if you could automate the checkout and the separate center with a self-service. It really wouldn't be that hard or even over-worked because the only real job would be helping customers find what they need.

Best place you're getting a mech engineering job in Miami is Missile and Fire control at Lockheed Martin but for that you've gotta prove you've got the aerospace stuff like having done rockets already. There's no market for mech engineers in Miami. You want a place for that? Look in Orlando.

  17.  @User-gfys-0icu81  That only works when supply is up. Also the free market gave you the 8 hour workday not the government. They set in stone a practice which had already spread and had started to take the form of giving employees benefits so that they're incentivized to stay.
