@infoseeker3047 To be fair they also managed it really well. Which is the biggest thing the Americans have going for them. They just learn to deal with whatever comes their way.

Probably most similar to Canada honestly. The issues they face are regional but culturally and politically all of the CANZUK nations are incredibly similar. They're basically regional variants of the same people. The US has changed so much and had so much spreading of other populations that have assimilated into it that it really isn't like the rest of the anglosphere. Compare that to CANZUK which are realistically just the Brits across 3 areas. Oh and even more similarly: they're projections of American power and influence.

@StuffandThings_ Well the thing is that the US MADE IT stable, industrialized, and well-irrigated. Because for a long time that land was just crap but with better plows invented it was able to till that soil. Rocky mountains in the way of unity? Build trains or take ships! Or just deal with the journey regardless. The natural resources like oil are also quite handy but let's face it, if they didn't they'd just take it from the Canadians lol. The US BECAME a hub of trade thanks to its large resource grain exports and its large burgeoning industry. The US basically just improvise, adapted, and overcame. Rivers really did help with the Louisiana purchase land though.

@ralphnoyes4366 The idea here seems that the Canadian provinces most aligned with the US join up for stability.

When he says it he means the textbook definition

How to avoid this: CANZUK and Anglosphere federation to regain their English identity. And then the US expands south to annex Mexico.

He was referring to demographics lmao.
