  1. ​@asmirann3636 First off: most Americans are actually Anglo in background. They just downplay the background in surveys. Anything objective shows they're dominant. Secondly: yes, they're Anglo countries in the same way Hispanic countries are Hispanic. They've the same cultural origin. Also, the colonies were so permanent from Roman and Greek times that they completely overshadowed their original colonizers for centuries after and colonized them back (Spain and France with Italy and Rome with Greece).

  2. At this rate it looks like Europe is facing so many Challenges from abroad that it almost seems like it's on a pathway to a state run model once again which it's already partway in to. With declining economic competitiveness, it's running into solutions it can't just manage its way out of. The next decade is going to be hard for Europe and i think going to be a point of serious self-reflection as the golden age ends.
