I think the biggest thing with choosing the traits of children before they're born is that you're going to completely OBLITERATE any ideas of equality. The idea of equality before God is based on the idea that despite us being good at different things, we have the potential to do, most things, and we all have the spark of divinity within us. Now imagine when you can create genuine castes of people. And if we're going to be selecting for certain traits already, those kids likely won't be able to select for other traits down the line because they just won't have them. And you're relatively quickly going to form a caste society which are inherently VERY unequal and probably going to ban inter-caste breeding reinforcing the traits initially selected for. Edit: just in case it's not self-evident, gender equality does not exist in a caste society. You simply cannot make as many women who can compete with the men in those categories as they'll be at the extremes already, especially in strength where the female body has a lot of limiting factors for the sake of childbirth.

Only reason I'm still in college is that I do live comfortably off my degree and I've never been the best with my hands, but I've always been good with numbers. Thus, I'm an engineering student. Job at the end of it.

I mean, realistically, they got good degrees. I do wonder what happened to them

@skylinefever Less people were already equal blank slates and more, material conditions would obliterate cultural constructions, and the logical conclusion is India until 1950. Realistically, enough people are close enough to average for this to not matter. Specialize enough like suggested in this model, there is no average.

"But slowly" but that's fine. He's right. I've got time. I've never thought people got wealthy quickly. Majority of wealthy people are older for a reason.
