  1. He starts off by noting the advantages and that it made a lot of money. One of which was infinity war hype which is why even captain marvel had a lot of people go to see it. When did he say it was a masterpiece?

  2. Man praised a movie from Bollywood and All quiet on the western front. Not sure how that stacks up. But was he even disingenuous? He starts off by saying it made a bunch of money and why. Nothing he said contradicts this video. "Black Panther had a stellar cast, hype leftover from infinity war, and a sociopolitical movement behind it which wanted its success" doesn't mean it was good. In fact by completely omitting his ideas about the plot it says how bad it is through omission if that is all the praise he can give.

  4. "It was in the comics" isn't really an excuse. If everything bad about the movie is from the comics then it's a bad comic too. The two aren't mutually exclusive. And regarding the "colonizer" thing Wakanda here would have the least legs to stand on as they hypothetically let it Happen and did nothing. If they're roughly a century ahead due to this super material any Europeans in Africa should've been completely expelled from the continent. So... really dumb.
