Yeah I have to agree and I commented something similar on his most recent video. I think he's a expecting too much to see "Strong Female Character" to realize where the differences are. I mean here, she's his wife and just wants to know what the hell is going on because Mark left her in the dark. She's capable but not overpowered and most of the time she was saving it was saving Steven who's genuinely the one who's so weak. It's not like she really saved Mark. Also worth noting... she never really won legitimately or if she did was really for the reason that she's a main character. Like it was evident that Ethan Hawk was basically toying with them the entire time and it's evidenced when he just pulled a gun and shot Mark outright after he was sufficiently standing in his way. Two in the chest and that's it. And she was completely helpless to it too. She couldn't do shit. And her superpower part was explicitly temporary with her deal as per the agreement: "Just for this" and when she did tell Mark how to do that spell she was told how via that goddess so it's not like something SHE knew. She was even successfully tempted by Ethan Hawk so realistically she "lost" that battle of wills with him. So I kind of don't agree with his take here really.

@amaneyugihanako-kunofthesi8849 Yeah it's just been shit. However I'll always enjoy Moon Knight for having the balls to have its main Villain just shoot the hero. Like come on he's just a normal dude. Shoot him. And here... he does. It does do a fairly good job at making Ethan Hawke feel entirely in control too. Issue is more just poor execution on ideas arguably from studio rigidity as it is almost as formulaic as the rest.

I think it's also worth noting that said Kaiju battle was mostly in the background and not the soul of the fight. It was a parallel fight to give extra clarification and I guess not have Khonshu be completely useless. In that end I'm kind of fine with it.

@amaneyugihanako-kunofthesi8849 Even then it looks like they were kind of fighting it in making the kaiju battle in the background to parallel with the more grounded fight between the main characters.

@JohnnySilverFinger On top of that she's stronger than STEVEN. Not Mark. Once Mark is in the picture she's relegated to the backseat. And on top of that, things usually end up worse when it's just her and Steven. That pair is clearly weaker in the story.

@Lawrence_Talbot To be fair... that wasn't her fault. She was asked the question. How was she supposed to respond? I mean in context. Clearly... the writing for that scene is kind of dumb.

@Lawrence_Talbot Looking on it from her respective I kind of see it as "I have superpowers and I really don't have time to explain do I'll just say yes" even though reality that interaction was just for "the message" a tiny bit.

@Josh-hh2cu I mean... it's not like he's all knowing or something and was mostly distracted as he was focused on other things and moving forward with her for all intents and purposes "defeated"
