If you can mark targets then what you have is an entire platoon which can engage everyone because you Only need one person to spot the enemy and then everyone can fire at them. Combine that with the NGSW and what you have is a force which can effectively kill an entire enemy force before really the unit can even be seen. Who's going to assume gunshots from 800m away are hitting them until they're losing men and have ruled out all other options or have already been in frequent contact with those engagements?
