  3. I think 5.45 is the current best cartridge for taking down unarmored human targets. I think the ballistics, and more importantly TERMINAL ballistics, favor this more Than any other caliber. However... if my target has hard body armor, my goal is to dump enough energy into it to deform it or just knock out the guy behind it with the force of the shot. Bud since armor is frequently rated for it just dump about like 5 of them into the target instead of the usual 1.
